Exaile is a music manager and player for GTK+ written in Python. mkvtoolnix provides command line tools which can get information about (mkvinfo), extract tracks/data (mkvextract) Matroska files (extensions .mkv and .mka) and create (mkvmerge) Matroska files from other media files. Futhermore, provide a graphical frontend called mkvmerge-gui.
